The Brunch Cornucopia (2018)

PARSONS EDITORIAL CONCEPTS

The Brunch Cornucopia is a hypothetical artist cookbook featuring the work of Canadian contemporary photographer,
Laura Letinsky, best known for her still life works conveying candid, human impacted objects. The curated selection of
photos for this book are sourced from a number of her different collections, but all convey a multitude of juxtapositions
(order and disorder, authentic and fake, and quite obviously, eaten and whole). Letinsky’s deviation from traditional food
photography and the overall ambiance of her work greatly inspired the unconventional type placement that challenges
the expectation of perfection and its opposing reality in design.
